Cafe Thirty-A

Café Thirty-A’s Annual Christmas Charity Ball raised a record-breaking $90,905 for Caring and Sharing of South Walton during a sold-out celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2025, which also marked the restaurant’s 30-year anniversary. Presented by honorary sponsors Coastal Luxury Real Estate, Earl Bacon Agency, Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A., and the Ellis Family, more than 250 guests gathered in the festively decorated restaurant (courtesy of Palms 30A) for an evening that included valet, champagne, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet dinner buffet, cash bar, desserts, a lively dance floor with DJ Casey, a photo booth, and even a surprise visit from Santa—plus a new upstairs lounge for additional mingling space. Guests also bid on an extensive silent auction featuring art, jewelry, gift baskets, and luxury items.

Funds were raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and auction proceeds, with an additional 25% of select pearl jewelry sales—created in honor of the 30-year “pearl” anniversary—donated to the organization. “This milestone is only possible because of our incredible community who has gathered around our table and supported Café Thirty-A for three decades,” said co-owner Jackie Maliszewski. Carly Barnes, executive director of Caring and Sharing of South Walton, added that the evening’s success directly supports families facing crisis by helping provide access to food, financial assistance, case management, and connections to essential resources.
