Summer market update

Well we are coming to the end of a very interesting year, one that was not easy for the majority of Australian’s.
Fortunately, Central Coast real estate was an industry that survived and then flourished post lockdowns. This was mostly thanks to new working from home conditions and low interest rates, major motivators for Sydneysiders to buy, rent or invest in our beautiful, laidback region.
As a prestige property specialist, I’ve experienced high end holiday home investors paying up to double figures for holiday homes, with some luxury holiday returns providing over $250,000 pa in returns. The new trend is holidaying locally with family and friends, with overseas holidays replaced by holiday home purchases.
According to CoreLogic, during the months March-June this year, the Sydney market dipped in property price growth, but the Central Coast market has been growing all year, and I feel that it will stay that way for awhile. In my opinion, now is the perfect time to list your home on the coast while all the tourists are visiting and enjoying our beautiful beaches and national parks.
While some agent’s decide to shut up shop over Christmas and New Year, my team and I will be working throughout the summer holidays, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Summer is our busiest season, and we pride ourselves on servicing our clients year-round.
There is so much going on in our area over the warmer months, and my team and I are always happy to recommend some fun activities. I'll be hosting a boutique festival down at the Killcare Surf club from 30 December 2020 – 8 January 2021. The event will feature a unique collaboration of art, fashion, food, furniture, transport and holidays on the Central Coast.
There are also some holiday houses still available to book. I have a dedicated concierge team that is available to talk to seven days a week about all the holiday houses on offer – contact Belle Escapes on 02 4360 1717 to book or make an inquiry.
I have a dedicated Buyer’s Agent Linda Gibbens who is happy to help anyone who is looking to buy on the Central Coast, feel free to reach out on 0499 039 997. For those looking to sell, my number is 0414 241 005.
So whether you’re looking to buy, sell or holiday on the Central Coast, Belle Property is the go-to agency to contact over summer. While I’ll be busy working, I am also looking forward to spending some quality time with my nearest and dearest, and I hope you are all doing the same! Cheers to the end of a tough year, and the start of something new for 2021.
